We have recently completed a number of evaluations in Swindon, Torquay and London as well as a very large and interesting evaluation project in Gloucestershire for a proposed solar farm development. Despite the spring rains followed by baking sunshine we uncovered and recorded large amounts of Roman industrial archaeology spread across a large area. We are now getting ready to start the next phase of our large excavation down on the south coast near Portsmouth which has shown a lot of Bronze Age and Roman activity previously.
