We have recently been working in Oxfordshire on one of our ongoing large excavation sites. We have uncovered a large amount of ditch features of Bronze Age date. These are likely to represent former land divisions and field boundaries as well as a possible droveway. A large early Post-medieval ditch on the same alignment as the main Bronze Age ditches may suggest long-term landscape continuity.
