Foundations Archaeology is an independent commercial unit based in Swindon, which operates country-wide. It is a well-established, small company, which has been trading for 30 years. Due to a successful year there is currently a need for additional members of staff. The work will be based out of the Swindon office, but will involve stay-away projects across the UK, as required, for which accommodation; subsistence and mileage (where applicable) will be paid.

Position: Archaeologist/ Assistant Supervisor
Financial: From £26,000 (dependent upon experience)
Timescale: Permanent following the successful completion of a 6 month Probation Period
Skills required:
- Full UK driving licence, clean.
- Minimum 6 months experience of fieldwork.
- Membership of CIfA desirable.
- PCIfA or equivalent preferred.
Personal Skills:
Enthusiastic, ethical, hard-working and flexible, as well as being able to use initiative. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively as a team player as well as independently and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
