Dr. Jennifer Beamer

Biography
Jen graduated from University of Leicester in 2016 with an MA (Distinction) in Archaeology and in 2022 with a doctorate in Archaeology. She specialises in textile production tools from Iron Age Britain and incorporates experimental archaeology, ethnography, and craft experience in her research goals. Jen is vocal in outreach projects and has filmed archaeologists for Open Days as part of large infrastructure projects. She has a year of fieldwork experience in Britain and joined Foundations Archaeology in July 2024
